Liliane has had a love for fashion since childhood. As a teenager, she would buy fabric and design her own outfits, asking her mother to sew them for her.

She would save her allowance for months to buy a piece she admired and spent hours immersed in fashion magazines, clipping photos of pieces, outfits and designers she loved. Her journey to becoming a designer began with a personal need. She had an event to go to and went out looking for a bag to go with her outfit. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, she decided to make it herself.

Liliane fell in love with the creative process, fascinated by how a few materials and skilled craftsmanship could bring her designs to life. She realized there were other women who, like her, appreciated the charm of handmade, quality pieces. She set out to design handbags that blend functionality and classic designs with a stylish twist. And that’s how LILI was born!

What Liliane enjoys most is seeing how each woman makes her handbag her own, adding a unique touch to her style. For Liliane, the joy of designing lies in creating pieces that become a special part of each person’s wardrobe.
